Software supported

We license the following layout applications (on the specified platforms) which work well for output through our workflow:

QuarkXPress 5.01 (Mac OS)

Adobe PageMaker 6.52 (Mac OS and Windows '98)

These applications often require some extra work:

Adobe InDesign 2.02 (Mac OS and Windows '98).
Macromedia FreeHand 10 (Mac OS, Windows XP) Lens functions often don't work; OPI must be done manually; must set box at edge of bleed to get correct page size and then export EPS for each page.
Corel Draw 7 (Windows '98)
Publisher 2002 (Windows '98)

Files from these applications must be exported and placed into a layout program for accurate position and page size (please follow the link for more information):

Adobe Illustrator 10 (Mac OS, Windows 2000/XP)
Adobe Photoshop 7 (Mac OS, Windows XP)

If you are using an older version or different platform (i.e., PageMaker 5 or QuarkXPress for Windows), we will need to convert your file to output it.

Our ability to support other software is limited. However, if you can produce a PostScript output file, we may be able to work something out. Additional art service charges will probably be needed; please contact us for more information.
